What a day!

Today I have literally spent the whole day shopping. I've been out for 11 hours and have only been in Selfridges, Harrods and Vivienne Westwood. I have seen a million and one things I want! I am particularly proud that I didn't buy a single thing, as I am saving for my travelling. But, as a bonus, I saw the cutest dog ever, tried the new Starbucks cookie crumble frappucino (to die for) and saw TOWIE's Mark Wright ! Xx

I apologise!

Just a quick post to say that I'm still about and I haven't forgotten about you or my blog! I work close to 60 hours every week and it's becoming a struggle to find any free time to do anything!

Come September I will start a new job so hopefully I can have some regularity with finding time for my blog!

Thanks for all the support! Xxx

Summer Drinks!

This is a bit of a different post for me, but I thought I'd make a quick post about the drinks that have kept me going this Summer.

Belvoir Fruit Farms, Raspberry Lemonade, 75cl, £2.46

NOTW

I recently just found out that the No7 Speed Dry range has been discontinued. Bummer. If anyone knows of a similar shade let me know! This colour is one of my summer essentials.

Strawberry Curls! *Please Don't Eat*

I first stumbled across Strawberry Curls on Twitter. There seems to be a lot of hype around them so I had to give them a go. They are basically the most ridiculously cute strawberry shaped curlers known to man. When I received them, the first thing I thought was 'well, they're that cute I don't even care if they work or not!'

14 day trial of the new YSL Foundation!

I managed to get my hands on two samples of the new YSL foundation - each has enough to last 7 days.

I had one makeover in Boots, and the lady said my perfect shade was BD20, then a week or so later I had another makeover in Debenhams, and I was told that my perfect shade was BR20 - go figure!

Yves Saint Laurent, Le Teint Touche Eclat, £28, 30ml.

The Body Shop Blue Corn 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Scrub Mask

This has been my favourite buy this month!

I'm always on the look out for new masks to try - and this one came highly recommended from my friends, family and the manager of the Enfield Town The Body Shop.

Blue Corn 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Scrub Mask, £9, 100ml.

My 'I have work in 2 hours and really don't want to go' make up look! FOTD

Urgh. I hate doing PM shifts! I waste the whole day thinking about how much I reallllly don't want to go work... So I thought I'd do my make up to pass the time, which took up all of 5 minutes :/

So back to moping around....

My Birthday Weekend Beauty Haul!

What did I buy this weekend? What didn't I buy would be an easier question!

Maybelline Superstay24 DualEnded Lip Color - Creme Caramel!!

I'm the kind of person that owns a million lip products - tints, sticks, glosses, balms, pencils, crayons etc etc... I have been really good and since November I haven't bought anything lip related, but as of late i've been getting tired of my reds and pinks and fancied something a little more neutral. Whilst in Boots the Maybelline Superstay24 DualEnded Lip Color in Creme Caramel really caught my eye. In the shop it looked like a browny nude color so I thought I'd treat myself to something new!

Maybelline Superstay24 DualEnded Lip Color, £8.99.

And here's what it looked like!

Maybelline BB Cream - To buy or not to buy?

A few days ago I got sent 3 free samples of the new Maybelline BB Cream. I got 3 little sachets of the 'light' cream. I actually managed to try these on the 3 sunny days we had last week, which was pretty lucky really.

Models Own, Pray, £5, 14ml.

This is one of my fav Models Own colours to wear!

Elemis - Defined By Nature, Led By Science.

Elemis is a gorgeous luxury brand who know a thing or two about skin care. Prices of products can range from reasonable to way out of my price range, but it always leads to me to wonder whether you can really put a price on a great skincare range? Elemis is packed full of natural properties and they do not test on animals. They seemed to have hit the nail on the head when it came down to finding that carefully crafted relationship between the use of natural ingredients and scientific advances. They know they're stuff is all i'm saying!

There are quite a few products that I'd like to go through - so apologies in advance for the lengthy post!

'I would like to thank all the little people....'

I woke up a couple of days ago to discover that I had been nominated for the Liebster Blog award by the lovely Nicola

Now, i've not heard of this award before, but then again i've only been in the blogging business for all of 7 days!  So I hope Nicola doesn't mind, but I'm going to copy the guidelines from her post to her so you can see what it's all about too :)

'Someone like yoooooou' Inspiration from Adele!

When it comes to beauty, it's the timeless, flawless, classy look that I believe is always the most flattering on anyone. Lately i've been taking a lot of inspiration from Adele - someone who I think is stunning. When I saw the 'Someone Like You' video I was completely in awe of her whole look - the hair, make up, dress and those gorgeous diamond earrings!! I was invited to a pretty big night out, and thought that i'd try to not imitate, but recreate the look she has got going on. I will never be as beautiful as her... but I can bloody well try! :p

Update!

Hello all my lovely readers :)

Thank you for all the support you've shown me over the last week. I seemed to have finally got my head around using blogger! I've met some lovely people and have received some invaluable advice from some of my favourite bloggers out there.

I have been working on a lot posts lately, but haven't had the time to add all the finishing touches just yet! There's loads of new posts to come this week, including one about cheap/expensive toners, an Adele inspired hair/makeup look, a review of the Elemis range and the new YVES foundation and mascara that is coming out this following week - I have been lucky enough to get my hands on these before they hit the shelf and I will be reviewing these for you once I give them a fair go :)

I have so much to share with you!

I work a crazy amount of hours but I'm hoping to start getting into a routine of posting at least 3 new posts a week.

Again, thank you for the support!

Much Love!

Wednesday Nail Change!

It's Wednesday... and that means its nail change time! (I live a craaaaazy life).

This weeks i'm going for:

Models Own, Lilac Dream - From the Ice Cream Sundae collection, £5, 14ml.

Excuse the chubby fingers and short nails!

'Creaseless' eye shadows... Do they REALLY work?

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner - £14, 4.5g.

Creases = The reason I stopped using eyeshadows. There is nothing more heart braking than to spend ages applying, blending and layering eye shadows to only look in the mirror an hour later to see that all that work has turned into big creases across your eye lid. Bain. Of. My. Life.

It's a fact that every girl owns a million mascaras....

Mascara! If your anything like me then you will most likely have a million and one mascaras dotted around your house. The other month I had a huge clear out and got rid of a lot of old make-up, not to mention that I threw away about 15 old mascaras... If you've had it longer than 6 months - Bin it!!

I'm going to review the last surviving 5 mascaras left in my make up bag.

My very first review... Benefit WOW Foundation!

This is my very first post, so here we go!

Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Foundation - £24.50, 30ml

This product has been years in the making. The Benefit brand is a huge, global name who are constantly refreshing their products. However, I was really surprised to find out that this was Benefit's very first liquid foundation. I could not apply the saying 'Good things come to those who wait' any more to this foundation any more if I tried! This product reached UK stores on the 31st March so it is still relatively new. I heard about this coming out at the beginning of the year and I just couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I always thought it was weird that Benefit hadn't offered a liquid foundation before now... Or if they did they must have discontinued it waaaay before I was in to Benefit.
